For over 30 years, Dr. Samuel Thompson has worked in the field of community development. Dr. Thompson is not only the Executive Director for InTouch Community Services, Inc. he also serves as Senior Pastor of Hope Springs M.B Church in Jackson, MS and the Liaison of the National Baptist Convention USA Inc. to The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Before joining the InTouch Community Services, Inc. staff, Dr. Thompson worked for several churches within MS as well as the Regional Director of Community Corrections State of Mississippi, Director of School Safety and Director of Student Services for Meridian Public Schools, Meridian, Mississippi, Interim Principal for Kate Griffin Junior High School, Meridian, Mississippi, Consultant for the Mississippi Department of Education State of Mississippi, Dean of Chapel and Director of Admissions for Piney Woods Country Life School, Piney Woods, Mississippi, Owner of Thompson Security (Rankin Securities) Flowood, Mississippi, and Thompson Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon, Mississippi. Throughout his very successful career, Dr. Thompson served on several boards and received numerous awards for his hard work.
